These terms are the agreement between you (the business that opens a Jiri Books workspace) and Jiri Labs. By creating an account you accept them. Plain language throughout; where it matters we say what we will and will not do.
The service
Jiri Books is cloud accounting and billing software. We provide the software, hosting, backups and support described on this site. We do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice; the numbers are yours and so are your filings.
Your account
- You must be authorised to act for the business you register.
- Keep your password private. Users you invite act under your workspace; you are responsible for what they do in it.
- One workspace per business; companies inside a workspace are governed by your plan's limits.
Trial, plans and payment
- New workspaces get a 7-day Starter trial. No payment is taken to start.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in Nepali rupees, in advance, by bank transfer or QR. We activate your plan once payment is confirmed.
- If a plan is not renewed, the workspace becomes read-only 3 days after expiry: you can view, print and export, but not post new documents, until a plan is active again.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
- Refunds: a payment made in error is refunded on request within 14 days; used months are not refunded.
Your data
- Everything you enter belongs to you. You can export it at any time.
- We keep it isolated, backed up and available as described in the Privacy policy.
- You may not enter data you have no right to hold, or use the service to break Nepali law.
Acceptable use
No attempts to access other workspaces, to overload or probe the service, or to resell access. We may suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why.
Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it; maintenance windows are announced in advance where possible. Support is by email; response times depend on your plan.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Jiri Labs is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data beyond restoring from the most recent backup, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can close your workspace at any time from Settings or by writing to us; we delete it as described in the Privacy policy. We can end the agreement for breach of these terms with notice, or if we stop offering the service, in which case you will have at least 60 days to export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. (Venue: TODO)
