Built around the four things you check every morning

Not a chart of accounts. Your day.

  • Collect

Who owes you, how old it is, which cheques to deposit this week.

  • Pay

Supplier bills by due date, cheques you issued that will hit the bank.

  • Reorder

Cartons and pieces on hand, damaged pile, what fell below your alert.

  • Claim

Breakage the brand still owes you, and what came back as credit.

Post-dated cheques, handled the way the bank handles them.

A cheque from a customer sits in Cheques in Hand until you deposit it. Clear it into the right bank account on the day it clears. If it bounces, one click reverses everything it had settled and the invoice is open again.

Cheques you issue work the same way in reverse, so your bank balance never surprises you.

Stock in cartons and pieces, valued at what you actually paid.

Buy in cartons, sell in bottles. Every movement carries its cost, so the inventory value on your balance sheet is real — weighted average, not a guess. See a product's full history with a running balance and a low-stock list built from your own alert levels.

Breakage claims that follow the goods all the way to the brand.

A customer returns broken bottles: credit them, keep the goods in a damaged pile, raise a claim on the brand. When the brand approves, settle it as a bank deposit or as credit on your next purchase bill. Every step is a document; nothing lives in someone's head.

One ledger underneath everything

Every invoice, bill, receipt, cheque, claim and payslip posts a balanced journal entry. Cancelling posts a reversal. The trial balance always balances, because there is no other way to write into it.

Questions people ask

Is this for my kind of business?
If you buy from brands or wholesalers and sell on credit to shops — FMCG, beverages, groceries, hardware, pharma — yes. Jiri Books speaks your day: cartons, cheques, claims, VAT bills with PAN.
Do I need an accountant to use it?
No. You record sales, purchases, receipts and payments in plain forms; the double-entry ledger is written for you. Your accountant gets a trial balance, P&L, balance sheet and VAT summary that always agree, and can export everything to Excel.
How do I pay for a plan?
Bank transfer or QR from inside the app. Send us the payment reference and we activate your plan, usually the same day. Card payment is not available in Nepal, so there is nothing to set up.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your books stay exactly as they are. You can still open, print and export everything; posting new documents pauses until you pick a plan. Nothing is deleted.
Can I use it offline?
Not yet. Jiri Books is cloud-only today. A desktop app that works offline and syncs with the cloud is in development.
Is my data safe?
Every company's data is isolated at the database level with row-level security, backed up daily, and exportable by you at any time. Staff only see what their role allows.
